GCP / AWS DATA ARCHITECT

Next Ventures is currently partnering up with a global consultancy to help them build out their data division in the Netherlands.

We are looking for 2 AWS OR GCP Data Architects.

You must reside in the Netherlands and be able to work without sponsorship to be considered for this role.

Requirements

8+ years of experience in data architecture, cloud engineering or analytics platform design.
Expertise in AWS or GCP (Azure is a plus).
Strong background in enterprise‑scale data‑warehousing and data modelling.
Experience with lakehouse, streaming, and ELT/ETL architectures.
Ability to influence both technical and non‑technical senior stakeholders.
Comfortable working in ambiguity, solving problems without predefined paths.
Hands‑on mindset while maintaining strategic architectural oversight.
Proactive, resilient and energised by complex enterprise challenges.
