Location: India

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure & Operations Project Manager to lead the planning, delivery, and optimisation of core IT infrastructure and operational initiatives across the organisation. This role sits at the intersection of technology, operations, and project delivery, ensuring that infrastructure projects are executed on time, within scope, and aligned with business and operational requirements.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure (networks, servers, cloud, storage, end‑user computing), combined with excellent project management skills and the ability to coordinate cross‑functional engineering, operations, and vendor teams.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Project Delivery

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of infrastructure projects including upgrades, migrations, deployments, and operational improvements.

• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and dependencies.

• Coordinate with Infrastructure, Cloud, Network, Security, and Operations teams to ensure successful execution.

• Oversee implementation of new systems, hardware, and services across on‑prem and cloud environments.

Operational Excellence & Service Management

• Drive improvements across IT operations, service reliability, and incident management processes.

• Work closely with Operations teams to ensure smooth handover of new services into BAU.

• Support capacity planning, performance optimisation, and lifecycle management of infrastructure assets.

• Ensure operational documentation, runbooks, and support processes are up to date.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

• Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and expectation management.

• Manage relationships with external vendors, service providers, and technology partners.

• Facilitate governance meetings, steering committees, and project reporting.

Risk, Compliance & Change Management

• Identify and manage project risks, issues, and mitigation plans.

• Ensure infrastructure changes follow ITIL, change management, and compliance standards.

• Support audits, security reviews, and regulatory requirements where applicable.

Cross‑Team Collaboration

• Work closely with Cloud, Network, Security, DevOps, and Operations teams to align project goals with technical realities.

• Facilitate collaboration between technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

• Promote best practices in infrastructure delivery and operational readiness.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as an Infrastructure Project Manager, Operations Project Manager, or similar role.

• Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure:

• Servers, storage, networking

• Cloud platforms (Azure/AWS)

• Virtualisation (VMware/Hyper‑V)

• End‑user computing and workplace technologies
