Overview

We are seeking a curious and ambitious Software Engineer to join a growing technology company developing innovative AI-powered products for the scientific and life sciences space.

You’ll work as part of a highly collaborative, interdisciplinary team of engineers, scientists, designers, and product specialists to build software that helps solve complex problems and accelerate innovation.

This is a hands-on role with significant ownership and the opportunity to work across a broad range of technical challenges.

What You’ll Do

• Build high-quality software that supports advanced AI and scientific applications.

• Design and improve infrastructure for model management, performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Develop backend services, APIs, and supporting systems for production applications.

• Contribute to both frontend and backend development depending on project needs.

• Work on tools and platforms that incorporate AI into complex workflows.

• Own large projects from design through implementation and deployment.

• Collaborate closely with engineers, scientists, and product teams to translate complex requirements into effective software solutions.

• Help identify opportunities to improve products, processes, and engineering practices.

• Contribute to technical and product decisions as the organization continues to grow.

What We’re Looking For

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience solving complex technical problems.

• Strong fundamentals in API design, data modeling, and application security.

• Experience building, deploying, monitoring, and operating production services in the cloud.

• Strong software engineering fundamentals and the ability to work across different areas of the technology stack.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• A product-oriented mindset and comfort working in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment.

• Strong ownership and the ability to take projects from concept through execution.

• Curiosity about AI, emerging technology, and scientific applications.

• Interest in working at a growing technology company where you can have meaningful ownership and impact.
