Senior SAP BW / BW4HANA Consultant

Location: Toulouse, France
Contract: 3 months + extension
Work Model: Primarily remote with travel to Toulouse approx. 2x per month
Languages: English required, French beneficial

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP BW / BW4HANA Consultant to support ongoing analytics and data warehousing initiatives within an SAP environment. The role will focus on BW4HANA data modelling, development, and optimisation, working closely with business and technical teams to deliver scalable reporting and data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop BW4HANA data models, including InfoObjects, ADSOs, Composite Providers, and Open ODS Views.

• Build and maintain data flows, transformations, DTPs, and process chains within BW/BW4HANA.

• Develop HANA-based models including Calculation Views and CDS Views where required.

• Integrate data from SAP ECC / S/4HANA and external sources using modern extraction frameworks.

• Support development and optimisation of reporting solutions (e.g., SAP BusinessObjects / WebI).

• Monitor and optimise query performance and data loading processes.

• Provide production support, troubleshooting, and data validation.

Required Experience

• 7–10+ years of SAP BW experience, including BW4HANA environments.

• Strong hands-on experience with BW data modelling and LSA++ architecture.

• Experience with SAP HANA modelling and performance optimisation.

• Familiarity with data extraction from SAP ERP environments (ECC or S/4HANA).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or SAP Datasphere.

• Exposure to S/4HANA transformation or migration projects.

• Experience with SAP BusinessObjects reporting tools.
