SAP Data Migration Consultant (Pharma)
Contract Type: 3-Month Contract (Outside IR35) + extensions 
Location: UK / 4 days per week onsite (South West UK)
Start Date: ASAP

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SAP Data Migration Consultant with a strong background in pharmaceutical industry projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering end-to-end data migration activities as part of an SAP ECC implementation, specifically supporting a migration from JD Edwards (JDE) into SAP ECC.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute data migration activities from JD Edwards to SAP ECC
• Perform data extraction, transformation, cleansing, and validation
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to define data migration strategy and mapping rules
• Ensure compliance with pharma regulatory requirements (e.g., GxP, data integrity standards)
• Develop and execute data migration test cycles (SIT, UAT, mock loads, cutover)
• Troubleshoot data-related issues and ensure data accuracy and consistency
• Support cutover planning and go-live activities

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as an SAP Data Migration Consultant on at least one JD Edwards to SAP ECC project
• Prior experience within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry (essential)
• Strong knowledge of SAP ECC data structures and migration tools (e.g., LSMW, BODS, Migration Cockpit)
• Hands-on experience with data mapping, cleansing, and reconciliation
• Understanding of regulatory requirements in pharma (GxP, CSV, data integrity)
• Ability to work independently and deliver within tight timelines

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA migrations
• Familiarity with Master Data Governance (MDG)
• Exposure to validation documentation and audit processes
