SAP S/4HANA Techno-Functional DMS Consultant (Utilities)

Role Summary
We are looking for a senior SAP S/4HANA Techno-Functional Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Document Management System (DMS) and Workflow configuration. The consultant will play a key role in designing, configuring, and implementing SAP DMS integrated with core S/4HANA modules in a utilities environment.
This role requires both functional understanding of document-driven processes and technical capability in configuration, integration, and security.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience implementing SAP DMS on SAP S/4HANA
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP Workflow configuration
• Experience integrating DMS with SAP EAM / PM, and other ERP modules (MM, QM, PM)
• Experience with Fiori apps related to SAP DMS
• Knowledge of IT security and compliance in document handling
• Experience designing:
  • Document structures
  • Metadata and enterprise search
  • Version and status management
  • Document vaulting and distribution
• Experience with integration of SAP DMS with core S/4HANA modules
• Ability to produce technical and functional specifications
• Experience in testing, documentation, and key user training

Preferred / Advantageous Skills

• Experience with SAP Engineering Control Center (ECTR)
• Experience with SAP PLM Cloud for Intelligent Product Development
• Hands-on exposure to SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
• Experience with SER Doxis4
• ArchiveLink setup for retention of POs, invoices, and documents
• Experience in document migration from SAP DMS to external ECM solutions
• Knowledge of SAP Knowledge Management and Enterprise Search configuration

Key Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into technical & functional specifications for SAP DMS
• Configure and structure SAP DMS within S/4HANA
• Integrate SAP DMS with MM, QM, PM, and EAM processes
• Configure document workflows and metadata search
• Ensure compliance with IT security and document governance
• Support testing, documentation, and user training
• Work with standard workflows across MM, QM, and PM
• Define interfacing tables and integration specifications
• Support document conversion, viewer, status management, and vaulting

Language Requirements

• Swedish (native / fluent) for Stockholm location
• English (fluent) for Amsterdam location

Technical expertise takes priority over location.
