SAP EWM Consultant (German Speaking) - 24 month contract

Key Responsibilities

• Provide on-site SAP EWM application support for a global pharmaceutical manufacturing client, ensuring smooth warehouse operations in a 24x7 production environment.
• Support and troubleshoot SAP EWM processes while collaborating with shop-floor users and integrating with MES where required.
• Work closely with business users, IT teams, and manufacturing operations to resolve incidents and support continuous improvements.
• Participate in shift-based production support, ensuring timely issue resolution and system stability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support SAP EWM enhancements, testing, and deployment activities.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on SAP EWM experience.
• Good understanding of SAP EWM integration with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES); deep MES expertise is not required.
• Fluent German (spoken and written) is mandatory, with the ability to communicate effectively with shop-floor personnel.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Experience supporting manufacturing or pharmaceutical environments is preferred.

Work Location & Schedule

• Full-time on-site at the client location in Germany (5 days per week).
• 24x7 shift-based support, initially operating in two shifts (approximately 06:00–15:30 and 15:30–23:00), with the potential to move to a three-shift model.
• Two days off per week, with occasional emergency support as required.

Contract

• Initial 2-year contract with a strong possibility of extension.
