SAP PLM VEMP Configuration & Test Data Consultant – Tokyo (Hybrid) – Contract – Oct Start
My client in Japan is looking for an experienced SAP PLM Consultant with deep expertise in VEMP configuration and test data creation. The role supports a major SAP S/4HANA-driven PLM transformation program, with a focus on engineering and manufacturing integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure SAP PLM VEMP models, variant tables, and dependency logic
• Develop and manage test data to support variant configuration and validation
• Support EBOM to MBOM transformations aligned with engineering and manufacturing workflows
• Maintain engineering master data and documentation via SAP ECTR
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering, IT, manufacturing
• Conduct testing, support UAT, and troubleshoot configuration/data issues
• Document all configuration logic, test scenarios, and process flows for reuse

Key Skills & Experience:

• 10+ years of hands-on SAP PLM experience, including:
• SAP PLM VEMP configuration
• Variant configuration, classification, dependency handling
• EBOM/MBOM transformation processes
• SAP Engineering Control Centre (ECTR)
• Cross-module integration: MM, SD, PP, DMS
• Engineering Change Management (ECM)
• SAP S/4HANA in engineering-focused environments
