The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced SAP CO Consultant to join a major greenfield SAP S/4HANA transformation programme for a leading manufacturing client in Stockholm.

The programme is entering a critical phase, with approximately two years remaining and a significant rollout planned across multiple production sites throughout Europe and the USA.

This is a key role within the SAP Finance & Controlling workstream, with a particular focus on Product Costing and Profitability Analysis. You will work closely with business stakeholders, functional teams and the wider S/4HANA programme to design, implement and roll out the CO solution across multiple manufacturing locations.

The role requires someone who is comfortable working in a complex international programme and who can combine strong SAP CO expertise with practical manufacturing and business-process knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of SAP CO activities across the S/4HANA greenfield implementation.

• Lead and support the design, configuration and implementation of Product Costing processes.

• Work extensively with Material Ledger, Actual Costing and Standard Costing within S/4HANA.

• Design and implement Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), with a strong focus on Margin Analysis / account-based CO-PA.

• Support integration between CO and other S/4HANA areas, particularly FI, MM, PP and SD.

• Translate complex manufacturing requirements into scalable SAP solutions.

• Support the development of global template processes and their subsequent deployment across European and US production sites.

• Participate in workshops with business stakeholders and process owners.

• Produce functional specifications and support technical development where required.

• Lead or support configuration, testing, defect resolution and deployment activities.

• Support data migration, cutover and go-live activities.

• Provide expertise during site rollouts and help resolve complex CO issues.

• Work closely with finance, controlling, manufacturing and supply-chain stakeholders to ensure the solution meets business requirements.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of the global S/4HANA template throughout the rollout programme.

Required Experience

• Strong SAP CO consulting experience.

• Proven experience delivering SAP S/4HANA implementations, ideally greenfield programmes.

• Strong hands-on expertise in Product Costing.

• Strong experience with Profitability Analysis / Margin Analysis.

• Experience working within manufacturing environments is highly desirable.

• Good understanding of the integration between CO and FI, MM, PP and SD.

• Experience working on multi-country SAP rollouts.

• Ability to work with both business stakeholders and technical teams.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

• Professional fluency in English.

Desirable Experience

• Experience with large-scale global S/4HANA template programmes.

• Previous experience rolling out SAP to multiple manufacturing/production sites.

• Experience with European and/or US SAP deployments.

• Experience with S/4HANA Material Ledger / Actual Costing.

• Experience with SAP Fiori and the S/4HANA reporting environment.

• Previous experience working in a transformation programme moving from SAP ECC to S/4HANA.

Working Arrangement

This is a Stockholm-based hybrid role, with a requirement to work 3 days per week on site.

Candidates must therefore be willing and able to work on site in Stockholm on a regular basis. The role also involves international collaboration and may require occasional travel to project and production locations in Europe and the USA.
