Assignment background: The Civic Integration Service Center (SCI) facilitates the civic integration process in the Netherlands. Our responsibilities include:
• Monitoring the civic integration deadline and imposing fines for those who do not integrate on time;
• Granting loans and collecting debts;
• Organizing civic integration exams;
• And issuing civic integration diplomas. We collaborate with several partners in the chain, including the COA (Central Agency for the Reception of Asylum Seekers), municipalities, the Immigration and Naturalization Service (IND), and training institutions. SCI has a frontend (Java) and a backend (SAP). The backend consists of two teams: Team A and Team Zorro. Team Zorro focuses primarily on interfaces. Together with our colleagues in the frontend—Team GFT and Team Connect—we test message traffic via the PIB (municipalities) and MijnInburgering (immigrants) portals. In 2024, we launched Plateau 2, a project to enable exchanges between, COA, and municipalities via REST APIs. In addition to our regular activities, we participate in a multidisciplinary chain test. We have set up a regression test in Cypress. We embed our knowledge in work instructions. Requirements
• Working and thinking level
• ISTQB or Tmapnext certified
• HBO (higher professional education) working and thinking level (3 years)
• Recent work experience with SAP Testing (2 years)
• Recent work experience in Agile/Scrum (2 years)
Desired
• Knowledge of and work experience with automated testing, preferably using Cucumber and Java;
• Knowledge of and work experience with REST, SQL, and Kibana;
• Knowledge of and work experience with JIRA;
• Work experience with BusDevOps;
