As a Senior Consultant SAP HCM Payroll, you will play a key role in delivering complex customer projects end to end — from initial design through to go-live and handover. You will act as the main point of contact for clients, advising them on process design, system configuration, and solution functionality throughout the project lifecycle.
You will work in an international project environment with challenging assignments, long-term customer relationships, and a high degree of ownership.
Leading and moderating workshops to gather requirements and design solutions in the SAP HCM Payroll context
Documenting requirements, business processes, and test concepts
Setting up customer systems and supporting cutover and migration activities
Configuring and customizing SAP HCM Payroll, including schemas and rules
Supporting interfaces and integration with other SAP modules and third-party applications
Creating project documentation and training materials
Conducting knowledge transfer and handover to support teams
Supporting proposal preparation and effort estimations
Maintaining up-to-date expertise in German payroll legislation
Contributing to continuous improvement through internal knowledge sharing
Maintaining demo systems and supporting release activities
Showing openness and curiosity toward the transition to Employee Central Payroll
Several years of solid experience in SAP HCM Payroll consulting
Deep understanding of German payroll processes and legal requirements
Strong customer orientation and project management skills
Interest in modern payroll architectures, including ECP
Very good German and English language skills
