We are supporting a major public sector programme in Spain seeking experienced SAP Finance professionals to support and maintain an existing SAP S/4HANA Finance landscape. This is not an implementation role—the system is already live, and the focus will be on application support, maintenance, and coordination across technical teams.
The programme is expected to require up to seven consultants, although partial teams are also of interest.
Provide functional support and maintenance for SAP S/4HANA Finance applications.
Coordinate activities across the SAP support team.
Work closely with migration and integration teams to ensure smooth system operations.
Lead and coordinate part of a wider support function.
Support finance-related business processes within a Spanish Public Sector environment.
Minimum 7 years of SAP Finance experience.
Mandatory hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA.
Strong expertise across SAP Finance modules, including:
Finance (FI)
Treasury
Budgeting
Previous experience supporting (rather than implementing) SAP Finance applications.
Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills.
Experience working with migration and integration teams.
Previous experience within the Spanish Public Sector is essential.
Fluent Spanish and English are both mandatory.
Current SAP landscape is running on S/4HANA.
On-premise RISE environment (limited visibility on future roadmap).
Candidates based outside the EU may be considered, subject to the appropriate procurement and onboarding processes.
