This role is built for a senior SAP SD professional who wants more than project delivery.
As SAP SD Unit Lead, you will take end-to-end ownership of a growing SAP SD practice, shaping strategy, growing a high-performing team, and acting as a trusted sparring partner for customers navigating complex S/4HANA transformations.
You’ll combine deep SAP SD expertise with people leadership, commercial responsibility, and technical vision, all within an environment that genuinely values flexibility, transparency, and long-term growth.

Take full responsibility for the SAP SD unit, including delivery quality, team growth, and strategic direction
Lead, mentor, and develop senior consultants and architects, building a scalable, future-ready team
Define standards, best practices, and delivery frameworks for SAP SD and S/4HANA projects
Act as a role model and escalation point for complex functional and process-related challenges
Drive end-to-end SAP SD solutions across S/4HANA implementations, rollouts, and transformations
Design and optimise Order-to-Cash (OtC) processes in complex system landscapes
Advise customers on SAP standard, clean core principles, and future-proof architectures
Collaborate closely with MM, FI/CO, and logistics streams to ensure integrated solutions
Act as a trusted advisor at decision-maker level, translating business needs into SAP solutions
Lead customer workshops, solution design sessions, and executive discussions
Support key accounts and ensure long-term customer satisfaction and partnership
Support pre-sales activities, solution positioning, and proposal creation
Contribute to the strategic development of the SAP SD portfolio
Identify trends, innovations, and opportunities around S/4HANA and intelligent enterprise scenarios
Extensive experience in SAP SD, including multiple full-cycle implementations
Strong background in S/4HANA SD and Order-to-Cash processes
Proven leadership experience as a team lead, stream lead, or unit lead
Strong understanding of integrated SAP landscapes (MM, FI/CO, logistics)
Confident communication style with stakeholders at all levels
Fluent German and English (spoken and written)
